The Scholarship Gala is one of our largest fundraisers and enables the Alliance to award annual scholarships to deserving HBCU students from the Metro DC area. This signature event serves as an excellent opportunity for your Alumni network to engage with other HBCU chapters, local dignitaries, and our community partners.

The DC HBCU Alumni Alliance supports the mission of HBCUs through scholarship, fundraising, alumni reclamation, and student recruitment. DCHBCUAA members collaborate to strengthen the community through impactful programs and to support underserved students who plan to attend HBCUs.
